South Korea’s T’way Air Rebrands as Trinity Airways
In a significant move, South Korea’s low-cost carrier T’way Air will rebrand as Trinity Airways in the first half of 2026.
This transformation, originally announced after the airline’s acquisition by the Daemyung Sono Group, signals an ambitious shift.
The rebranding aims to align T’way with the group’s hospitality network, creating a seamless travel ecosystem.
A New Identity for a New Era
The name “Trinity” draws from the Latin word Trinitas, meaning “three coming together to form completeness.”
This reflects the airline’s vision to integrate air travel, lodging, and leisure services. The rebrand includes a fresh corporate identity, a sleek aircraft livery, and updated crew uniforms.
The new livery, featuring a neutral black base with pink, gold, and silver triangles, was previewed on an Airbus A330-900.
T’way expects to take delivery of five A330neos in 2026, supporting its long-haul ambitions.
The rebranding will roll out gradually, starting in early 2026. By the second half of the year, all aircraft will sport the new design.
This marks T’way’s second rebranding since its founding as Hansung Airlines in 2004, when it became South Korea’s first low-cost carrier.
The shift to T’way Air in 2010 set the stage for its growth, and now Trinity Airways aims to elevate the brand further.

Strategic Shift: From Budget to Hybrid
Trinity Airways is moving beyond its budget roots. The airline plans to operate as a hybrid carrier, blending low-cost efficiency with premium services for long-haul flights.
This aligns with Daemyung Sono Group’s goal to create a vertically integrated travel experience. With 18 hotels and resorts across Asia, Europe, and the Americas, the group will offer unified membership programs and tailored travel packages.
Customers can expect seamless bookings for flights and accommodations, enhancing convenience and value.
The rebrand also emphasizes safety, trust, and sustainability. Trinity Airways aims to redefine customer experiences by combining reliable service with innovative offerings.
This strategic pivot positions the airline to compete globally while maintaining affordability.

Fleet and Network Expansion
Trinity Airways inherits T’way’s robust fleet of 44 aircraft, including Boeing 737-800s, 737 MAX 8s, Airbus A330-200s, A330-300s, and Boeing 777-300ERs.
Operating from hubs at Incheon and Gimpo International Airports, the airline serves 46 destinations across Asia, Europe, North America, and Oceania.
The addition of A330neos in 2026 will bolster its long-haul capabilities, enabling new routes and enhanced passenger comfort.
Looking Ahead
The transition to Trinity Airways is more than a name change—it’s a commitment to innovation. By leveraging Daemyung Sono Group’s hospitality expertise, the airline aims to create a unique travel experience.
Whether you’re a budget traveler or seeking premium services, Trinity Airways promises to deliver. As the rebrand unfolds in 2026, expect a fresh, dynamic airline ready to soar to new heights.
This rebrand marks a strong new chapter in South Korean aviation, blending affordability, comfort, and global ambition.
