Lufthansa Flight LH438 Frankfurt-Dallas Declares Emergency
A Lufthansa flight operating from Frankfurt to Dallas has declared an emergency whilst enroute.
Lufthansa flight LH438, an Airbus A330-300 bound for Dallas-Forth Worth declared an emergency with squawk code 7700, and has now diverted to Dublin.

Flight LH438 declared the emergency whilst in transit over the United Kingdom, and has proceeded with a diversion to Dublin Airport (DUB).
The flight had commenced a descent from cruising altitude prior to declaring the emergency. The nature of the emergency is not yet known.
Descent to 10,000 Feet
Flight LH134 is now backtracking and continuing at the reduced altitude of 10,000 feet under normal squawk. It is unclear whether the flight will return to the origin airport of Frankfurt, or continue a diversion to a UK mainland airport.
10:35 UTC: Continued Diversion at 10,000 Feet
Since declaring an emergency earlier this morning, flight LH438 had continued with a diversion at reduced altitude. It remains unclear whether the flight intends to return to Frankfurt am Main Airport, or divert to an alternate.
