SAS Flight Stockholm-Manchester Declares Emergency

An SAS Airbus A320-200 operating a scheduled flight from Stockholm to Manchester has declared an emergency whilst en route.

SAS flight SK2547, an A320 from Stockholm, declared the emergency with squawk code 7700 whilst approaching the United Kingdom east coast.

Having declared the emergency from the cruise at flight level FL380 (38,000 feet), the flight is continuing its inbound track for Manchester (MAN) at present.

Crossing the United Kingdom east coast, flight SK2547 has now left FL380, on descent for its destination Manchester Airport (MAN). The flight is maintaining emergency priority squawk 7700.
